Fireflies plans, and what the Free plan includes
The boundary. Free transcribes without limit when auto-join is on, stores 400 minutes per team and offers limited AI summaries with 20 AI credits. Paid plans start at $10 per seat per month, billed annually, and add unlimited AI summaries, 8,000 minutes of storage per seat, downloads of transcripts and recordings, and video recording.

- Unlimited when auto-join is on. Without auto-join, sign-up grants a few transcription credits: 3 from the website, 5 from the Chrome extension, 10 from the mobile app.
- Storage
- 400 minutes per team for recordings, uploads and dialer calls. When full, older files must be deleted.
- AI summaries and credits
- Limited AI summaries; 20 AI credits per month for AskFred, AI Soundbites and AI Skills.
- Uploads
- MP3, MP4, WAV, M4A files up to 100 MB and 150 minutes each; one transcription credit per file.
- Downloads
- Downloading transcripts requires a paid plan.
- Integrations
- 50+ apps, including video conferencing, CRMs, project management tools and dialers; all available on Free.

Questions about billing
- Is Fireflies AI free?
- There is a Free plan with no time limit. It transcribes without limit when auto-join is on; storage, AI summaries and downloads are where the paid plans differ.
- What does Fireflies AI cost on a paid plan?
- $10 per seat per month for Pro and $19 for Business when billed annually; $18 and $29 when billed monthly. Enterprise is $39 per seat per month on annual billing only.
- Is there a Fireflies AI promo code or coupon?
- The company does not publish a public discount code. Annual billing is the published saving, up to 44 percent against monthly billing.
- Does the Free plan need a credit card?
- No. Sign-up uses a Google or Microsoft account. An optional 7-day Business trial asks for a card and can be skipped at sign-up.
- How are seats counted?
- Paid plans are billed per seat. Teammates are added only after they accept an invitation, and each counts as a seat.
- Where are plans changed or cancelled?
- In the account settings at app.fireflies.ai: Settings, then Account, then Cancel beside the active plan; the account moves to Free at the end of the billing cycle. Business and Enterprise accounts can move to a lower paid plan instead. The help-center articles are linked under Sources.
